I love working with students and seeing the light in their eyes as they really come to understand concepts that may have alluded them before. For me, with math especially, getting certain concepts was a challenge that took extra work. I had to really understand something to be able to do it, I couldn’t just perform a procedure and not know what was going on. So with this extra effort to understand things in a more basic way–I think I am able to help many students in a similar situation learn more quickly.
Some things I enjoy: Playing guitar, hiking-exploring wild places, fly-fishing and camping.
